This is my last year in college, but looking back, there have been so many moments and incidents in these past four and half years that the time spent in CMRLS feels like a life time. Among these, the most prominent were moots, and I have had numerous opportunities to represent CMRLS in various institutions. Mooting is not only fun, but a very efficient learning experience, and a very different challenge altogether. My team-mates in various moots made them even more interesting, and I got to make new friends from other colleges during the moots. This is what moot courts also offer, and I am sure that after this year, I will miss mooting a lot.

My experience as a foreign student in India is one of it's own kind. It was hard for me to adjust at first but once school opened, a new life unfolded. My lecturers have been my parents ever since. I indeed found a home away from home. I take pride in the words " I AM A STUDENT OF CMR. They have made me the man that I am. I can not express my gratitude because if I did so, it would be a lie as words are not enough. A child undereducated is a child lost. My parents did not want to take the risk of sending me anywhere else with CMR in place.

CMRLS provides the atmosphere where its students can truly grow and learn, it does not merely turn out mindless drones which recycle information. Students are encouraged to do individual, original research and try new things. The liberal education is truly embraced.Faculty make an effort to make each student's experience at CMRLS, one that is unique to that student.

At CMR, you can choose to be who you want to be, and become the best version of yourself. As a law student, not only did I have the opportunity of doing several moots, but I also got to dance, sing, emcee, model, and assist in the making of a documentary. The infrastructure and resources available to a student are incomparable, but the personal relationships one nurtures are what make the experience complete. With students from diverse backgrounds, I was able to understand better my brothers and sisters from other parts of India.
